  Dropped the car in to get front brake pads changed. Wasn't contacted during the day, as promised. When I popped in at the end of the day to check on things, was quoted over €400 for extra work that wasn't needed (changing rear brake discs). When I explained this, the price dropped to €120. Ended up buying the pads off Micks Garage and doing the job myself. The car is as good a new now, but no thanks to Advance Pitstop.

  I gave 1 Star because there is no way to give zero 0. Stay Away from these people its up to you to trust me or not but I am not Joking or giving undeserved bad press. They are not trustworthy at all. They tell you all sort of BS to make you change parts on your car. They will be the nicest people on earth to you but they are literally buttering you up to make the pill go easier. My final bill was 50 euros higher than what I was quoted + they charged me for a job they did not even do. I went somewhere else to complete the job and I paid 100 euros less than what I paid at Advance Pitstop. If you go there good luck. but I warned you :)

  Always so reliable and so fair on pricing!
  
  Never got ‘fleeced’ in there. Went in several times with a shite quote from the ford garage and they told me straight away I didn’t need half the stuff. So honest!

  They won't do puncture repairs, and only seem to be interested in you when you buy new tyres. Very poor customer care, don't waste your time with them.

  Fair prices on car servicing, especially compared to main dealerships. Quick turnaround also. Will most likely be using them again in future.

  Went to have a CV joint and boot replaced. Car was in the garage all day, that evening I called and they told me they had got the wrong part. My car had to stay overnight.
  The next evening as they were closing they called to say it was ready. I paid €200 and drove it out of the garage only to notice the same clicking sound on full turning (the same as before it went in).
  I returned the next when they reopened to tell them the car is no different than before I brought it in and I'm €200 out of pocket, never mind the hassle of being left stranded in Galway due to they're negligence. I was told once again to leave it with them. I called just before they closed that evening to see what the story was, they said they were unable to resolve the problem and that the rattle was coming from the gearbox. He recommended a reconditioned gearbox for just below €1000 or a new one for €1200-€1500.
  I knew my gearbox was 100% sound, it was an excuse just to see the back of me. Angrily I left and brought my car to another independent mechanic who showed me the underside on the lift. The CV joint and boot were clearly never replaced as it was warn, leaking fresh grease and by no means new. My independent mechanic replaced the parts and the problem did not persist.
  2.5 years later and over 100000km on, my gearbox it still 100% sound. I never got around to reviewing my experience with these lying cowboy technicians that have the nerve to call themselves mechanics, but AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

  Great service here. I found staff to be knowledgeable, helpful and very clear with explanations. The work was carried out in a timely fashion and charged at a very fair rate.
